Privacy policy

This policy explains what Yugam Labs ("we") collects when you use Gotso, and why.

What stays on your device

The photos you add, the duplicate sorting, and your album layout are stored in your browser (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded to sort them or lay out pages. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Credits and payments: your credit balance and history, and payment records (amount, status, Razorpay order and payment ids). Card and UPI details go only to Razorpay.
• Orders: the recipient's name, phone number, email, and delivery address, and the print file of your book.
• Cover painting: the up to four photos you choose for a cover, scaled down, with the title and trip description you write. They are sent to paint the cover and are not kept by us afterwards.
• Page chat: your message and a picture of the page you are editing, sent to the AI model to make the edit.
• Trip maps: when you ask to find places from your photos, their locations, rounded to about a kilometre, are sent to OpenStreetMap to name the towns. The place names you confirm are sent to the AI model to draw the map. No photos are sent.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe in the footer, your email address, used only to send new book styles and ideas. Write to contact@gotso.in to leave the list.

Who processes it

• Supabase: accounts, database, and print-file storage.
• Razorpay: payments.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to: cover painting, trip maps, and page chat.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim): naming the places on a trip map, from rounded locations.
• Our printing and courier partners: your print file and delivery details, only to fulfil your order.
• Google Analytics: website usage and purchase statistics, only when you allow analytics.

We do not sell your data or use your photos to train AI models.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising cookies. Optional Google Analytics cookies are used only when you allow analytics. Your albums and photos are kept in your browser's storage (IndexedDB), your sign-in is kept in its local storage, and the site remembers your delivery address and book choices there to save you typing them again. Razorpay's payment window may set its own cookies to process a payment. Clearing your browser data removes everything stored on your device.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources, device information, book creation steps, checkout and confirmed purchases. We send product choices and amounts, but not your photos, filenames, album titles, email, delivery address or private sharing links. Advertising personalization is disabled. You can change your choice here at any time; turning analytics off stops our tracking and removes Analytics cookies from this site.

For signed-in visitors who allow analytics, we send a random account identifier to connect activity across visits and devices. This identifier is not your email address. We clear it from tracking when you sign out or turn analytics off.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting and tax. Print files are deleted once an order is delivered and the return window has passed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data by writing to contact@gotso.in. We reply within 30 days.
